The moment I trusted my own voice, the noise stopped mattering.
I used to poll everyone before making decisions. Friends, family, therapists – I used to call them all my “Board of Directors.” Their opinions felt more valid than my own instincts.
Then I just stopped. I decided to trust my gut and promised myself that no matter what the outcome was, I would be forgiving and understanding that it was going to be okay. Best decision I ever made. Have I made mistakes? Absolutely! But I own them. I know that as much as I’d like to think I have an operator’s manual on my life, I don’t, and trial and error are a real thing.

Your voice has been guiding you all along. You just need to listen.
